چکیده
This letter presents a 140-GHz frequency-modulated continuous-wave (FMCW) radar sensor for automotive applications. The monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) inside of the features one transmit (TX) and receive (RX) channel as well possibility to apply binary phase shift keying (BPSK) modulation transmitted signal. chip is bonded on printed board (PCB) that substrate waveguides (SIWs) minimize losses in signal distribution. It provides rectangular waveguide (RWG) outputs $D$ -band facilitate connection measurement equipment antennas. complete system controlled by backend connected via pin headers top RF with chip.

متن کاملA Ku-Band CMOS FMCW Radar Transceiver for Snowpack Remote Sensing
This paper presents a Ku-band (14–16 GHz) CMOS frequency-modulated continuous-wave (FMCW) radar transceiver developed to measure dry-snow depth for water management purposes and to aid in retrieval of snow water equivalent. An on-chip direct digital frequency synthesizer and digital-toanalog converter digitally generates a chirping waveform which then drives a ring oscillator-based Ku-Band phas...

A fully integrated, front-end Ka-band monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) was developed that houses an LNA (low noise amplifier) stage, a down-conversion stage, and output buffer amplifiers. The MMIC design employs a two-step quadrature down-conversion architecture, illustrated in the figure, which results in improved quality of the down-converted IF quadrature signals. This is due t...
